Walks - Sat. Sept 26 - Wed. Sept 30

Looking Lovely
Join us Saturday at Tim's. Those training likely want a 7:30 am start. Distances are as follows: Corning-12 km; Scotia bank 20 km; Niagara Falls 18 km. Mid week training distances range between 6 - 10 km.

Others may choose to start at 8:00 am on Saturday - distance of your choosing. Everyone is welcome. Helps to sign the blog so others know your plan. Carol - please join us.

Some are travelling - be safe; enjoy; be well.

Some are racing at Caven. Do well and enjoy those butter tarts.

Others are training with WOW and I know you'll be working hard.

Mid-week evening walk locations: there is some discussion about locations. I've asked Helen to design a poll so that you can let us know what locations you prefer. We aim to please!
Let's go Blue Jays!

Lovely photos of lovely ladies! I'll be out for a 7:30am start, for the long-haul; hope I'll be back in time to join others for coffee. Welcome Carol; great to have you as part of the group! Margy and Reiner; have fun in Cavan and have a butter tart for me!

Two great pictures.

I'll be out at 8 - hoping to get 12K in before Lee's class.

Have a few butter tarts for the rest of us Rainer and Margy.

The Monday group will be meeting at the Starbucks at Coxwell and Plains. (1 block south of O'Connor). Lots of street parking available. The Corning group only has to do 5k!!!!!!!!!

I'll be there at 7 to do whatever!

I'll be at Starbucks, and Bob is planning a route for 8K.

If you haven't voted on the Monday night location poll yet, please do! It's at the top right of the blog. So far, we're tied three ways -- just like the Federal election.

I'll be out tonight (Wednesday) for a walk from Occasions; hope to see everyone then!

Bob and I will be at Occasions -- should be for 10K, but we'll walk from home to add the difference between 8K and 10K. So, short version, we'll be there at 7 for 8K.

My thoughts on the Monday night location poll:

Looks like it doesn't have to be either/or. Judging by the number of votes, our group is getting large enough to support two Monday night locations. That's provided the 5, so far, who voted Loblaws and the 7 who voted Starbucks regularly turn up. Five or seven is a nice size for a group; usually, we get that or fewer.

Having a choice of starting points might bring out people who normally would not come to the (relatively) more-distant spot on Monday. Those who are flexible would also have a choice. But that means all of us must sign in to say where to expect us.

I thought I would be coming tonight, but that plan went bust. See you next Monday.

Helen, Lynne and I will meet you at your place to walk down too. Is 6:45 ok?

I will be out tonight bringing Cheryl with me. Corning has a mere 5k and relatively flat!

I concur with Helen and yes it would be lovely if everyone signed in to say they were coming whether it's Monday, Wednesday or Saturday. Helps to know who if anyone we are waiting for. Also signing in may encourage some others to join in the fun.

Lynne and Leverne, 6:45 from our place is perfect. Then we'll meet up with the gang from Occasions.
