Walks - Sat. May 9 - 13, 2015

Dawn - Charleston - spring 2015
Have you seen this window before?

Join us Saturday (it may be hot) for a walk at Tim's at 8:00 am for any distance of your choosing. Come out, enjoy the weather and friends - that's the best part.  Training? Niagara ladies need to do 18K this weekend...good luck. You may want an earlier start.
Good luck to Margy and Rainer (and Alexis?) in Kitchener this Sunday for the KW walking classic.  Also best wishes to Ruth and Libby who are doing Sporting Life 10k...Libby's last hurrah before knee replacement!

Starting at 7:00 pm, we meet Monday night at Loblaws and Wednesday night at Occasions. Please join us.  The day time group also meet - contact Dawn, if you want to join them.

So nice to welcome some new faces from the Running Room. Thanks to Kim for extending the invitation. We look forward to seeing you again.

Looks like some of us were in the same place (near the market in Charleston) within a few months. We didnt go into the store so am not even sure what it was selling. Interesting place, Charleston but I LOVED Savannah.

Sorry, I won't be joining you at Tim's tomorrow morning.

Lovely post, Susan; and I think we need a 'Shore Things' store here in Toronto ~ it could sell walking gear, coffee, and cheap, but good, wine! I'll be heading out at 7:30am, for a 14k, so won't see everyone at Tims. Wishing everyone a great weekend!

Look forward to hearing about the Charleston store and travels sometime soon. Greg, Arlene and I will be out at 8 for a short leisurely walk - although not sure Arlene knows the word leisurely!

Now that the race and Hot Docs are over, I'll be more or less in full garden tour planning mode until after the first week in June.

I won't be out on Saturday, but I think Bob will be.

I won't be out on Saturday, going to an Epilepsy Conference with the family (hopefully). Enjoy the beautiful day for walking and I am in for the "Shore Thing(s)" store, we may put Tim's out of business though!
Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers, and if you are not, enjoy the "Sun" day.

I won't be out tomorrow, it's the final morning of my unions annual conference. Have a good walk and happy Mother's Day for Sunday.

Is anyone walking tonight? I will be, I guess if it doesn't rain.

I'm just back from a long, tiring road trip, so I will pass on Monday. Bob is using that excuse to pass also. Hope to see you Wednesday.

I plan on going out. They are predicting rain at 8ish - just have to make sure we do a short walk or a close one so we can dash home if it starts.

Kim said...

I can go over there, then Jan. I agree--short walk. I mean your house, if no one else signs up.

I will walk Monday night. Prefer Loblaws, if possible.

I'll check with Leverne and Susan

Jan said...

Leverne is probably a no but I'll check with Lynne. Let's stick to Loblaws since Susan is coming too

Kim said...

Perfect. See you at Loblaws.

Jan said...

Lynne isn't coming either so it looks like it's just the 3 of us

I have an extra ticket for the Barber of Seville (it's free--paid for by Jenny who can't go) if anyone wants it.

Anonymous said...

If the ticket is still available I would be happy to take it off your hands 😄

It's yours, Lynne. It is at the front counter, either under my name or Jenny's. Helen and Jan have my phone number and I assume they have yours. Let's touch base tomorrow.

Is anyone walking Wednesday night? I suspect most/all are at the opera. I will walk if anyone is heading out to Occasions.
