Walks - Sat. July 5th - Wed. July 9th

Island walk
Join us Saturday at 7:30 pm (to avoid the heat) at Tim's for our walk - pick your distance - but for the record, those training for New Albany need to do 14 kms and those training for Corning need to do 8 kms. Let's keep them company. Those doing the shorter distance may want to start at 8:00 am - please sign in to let others know your plans.

We had a wonderful brunch at Dawn's on Tuesday after our walk to the look-out - great food and great friends. Thanks Dawn.

Week day walks - Monday and Wednesday day time - contact Dawn or Lou Ann for the update on location & time. Monday and Wednesday evening walkers meet at Loblaws and Occasions at 7:00 for 8-6, depending on the heat. Please join in.

Helen has been nursing a flu bug - we wish you a speedy recovery.

See you Saturday.

I'm planning to be out at 7:30 for 14 km assuming someone is doing 14. That said, I'll need to get up early and so everything stated above is up for negotiation.

Okay...I don't know where Susan is getting her energy from having just completed 18 km (22.23 km, recorded iPod distance) on the Bruce Trail, but kudos to her. I am trying to convince Jim that we can do an early walk tomorrow. With or without him, I will be there for 7:30.

Helen, so glad that you are on the mend.

I will monitor the weather and may come out. However if I am not there by 7 please do not wait for me.

Bob and I are signed up for a Wow class, starting tomorrow morning, so we might not be out on Monday nights for a few weeks. (We could be tempted to the Monday pool walks, on a week-by-week basis, though.)
