Walks - Sat. Aug. 3 - Aug. 7

Our walk & the plant growing through the roof -Allen's Gardens
I suspect that many people will be away over the long weekend but for those remaining in the city, here are the "desired" distances (and I use the term lightly).
For both Midsummer’s and Ottawa,  Saturday’s distance is 12K.  Easy!  Starting at 7:30 am. Walk whatever distance is comfortable for you.
The Monday distance is 10 and 8.  Please check the blog and sign in - some may want to do a morning walk from Tim's 2, starting at 8:00 am - it's a long weekend. Others may walk from Loblaws at 7:00 pm. Please let others know your plans.
Wednesday mileage is 8 for Mid Summer and 8 for Ottawa.  Meet at Occasion at 7:00 pm.
The daytime Monday & Wednesday group will make their own arrangements.
Our Ireland folks are racing on Monday. Make us proud!  Bring home your medals. I hope it doesn't rain.  Here are some of the gang doing their hill training in Ireland.
(I hope these photos are visible this week - oh my, the challenges! Please bear with me.)

Hmmm. Unsure why your pics aren't loading, Susan. When we get back, I'll come over for a quick tutorial.

Thanks for your good wishes, we'll try to do you proud.

I am planning on walking Saturday but not Monday morning - if anyone is looking for company Monday night maybe??

Thinking of you Dubliners - hope you're having a great time! And hope you have a great time on Monday.

I will be absent for the next 2 Saturdays. Heading off on a road trip to Oklahoma with stops in Memphis and Nashville.
Good Luck to all of the Dublin Gang.

I'll be out on Saturday at 7:30 am
but wishing that I was travelling with Trish (sounds like fun) or joining in the cheering section with Lynne in Ireland. All the best, team!

If I'm around on Monday, I'll walk whenever anyone else is walking-either morning or evening or both.

Somehow the photos need to be in Flickr (and they weren't). I know the problem but not the cure!

I will be at Tim's tomorrow morning at 7.30 but then won't be out for the rest of the week as I will be out of town. Have a great weekend everyone.

I'm not sure I'll make it out tomorrow for 7:30. Best wishes for the Dublin crowd. May the leprechauns guide you safely with good weather and speed.

If I can nab a car, I'll be there tomorrow for 7:30.

A hearty hello to the Dublin group and the supporters, Barbara and Lynn. Have a fabulous race day. Come in upright and smiling!

Anybody heading to Occasions on Wednesday night at 7:00? I can be there and would welcome company...

I know many are away, so I'll check the blog later to see if there are any responses.

I should be out - if I don't get sidetracked and forget! I was working away then realized it's 6pm already.

Bob & I arrived home mid-afternoon but, as it'll be midnight Dublin time at 7 pm, we won't be out on Wednesday. See you Saturday!

I guess since none of the regulars are coming out I'll pass - I know I could walk by myself.....I'll see if I can get Ray to cooperate.
