| Start of this morning's walk |
I hope this works as this is about the
fourth attempt!! [Dawn, I've reposted this for you. It was just published in the wrong place. H.] Saturday's walk from Tim's I suggest 7.30 start, but
the Dubliners may want to start earlier. Monday and Wednesday evening
walks I think are from Loblaw's and Shoppers respectively, but you'll
have to figure that our for yourselves - means you'll have to write in
the comments!!! Distances are as follows
Dubliners - 18k, 8k, 10k Midsummer - 10k, 8k, 5k Ottawa 10k, 6k, 6k,
Early
Monday and Wednesday walkers (for the month of July) are from Dawn's
place at 8.30 Monday and Lou-Ann's on Wednesday at 8.30. Lou-Ann has a
pool, as you know and has a wonderful pool boy!! It is important to
let us both know - by email please -if you intend to join us because
depending on the weather, we sometimes change the times and don't want
you to show up after we have left.

As hard as it will be to drag ourselves out of bed, Bob and I would like to…, prefer to…, well anyway we will start at 7 am on Saturday. It's 18K and the forecast says it'll feel like 27C even at 7.
And a big, Big-0 Birthday to Cheryl!
I plan to be out at 7:30 Saturday.

Arlene and I will be walking at 7:30 but with Lee Scott's class. We hope to make it back to Tim's in time to meet up with the rest of the group.
It was a toss up - intervals with Lee or 18K to train for Dublin. In the end, the 7:30 starting time was the deciding factor :-)

Don't know if anyone is planning to walk tonight, but I am not. I am hopefully joining the Wednesday morning group for walk/swim from Lou Ann's.

I think many of the Monday nighters walked this morning, but given the severe storm warnings, Bob and I will stay home this evening.
There might be a small break in the clouds on Tuesday evening, if the weather goes as predicted. If so, we'll walk then from home. Let us know if you'll join us.
Then we'll play Wednesday and Thursday by ear, hoping for the best.

So sorry that I didn't sign in. I was downtown all day doing a course and then I raced home to pick up the car from the dealership. I arrived home too late to go out for a walk.
For Saturday's walk (20 km?), will there be an early start? I would like to do the walk but I have a doctor's appointment at 11. I don't mind starting earlier than 7. I'll keep checking the blog.
