Walks - Sat. July 20 - Wed. July 24

WOW - IT'S HOT
Please turn down the heat for Saturday.

My photographers will, I'm sure, be sending some amazing photos of the pool party - a great time was had by all, I understand, and many thanks to our gracious hosts. This is a fine tradition.

Our walks this week are as follows - On Saturday
Dubliners - 16 km (almost to Rosetta McLean Park) - start 7:00 or earlier - state your preference.
Midsummer's Night and Ottawa - 14 km (almost, but not quite, to Rosetta McLean) - start 7:30 am
Others - whatever distance and time suits you.  Refreshments at Tim's after for all.

Monday & Wednesday - the morning group - you folks know the places and times. Bathing suits required for Wednesday.

Monday evening - 10 km for Dubliners and Midsummer's Night; 6 km for Ottawa. Meet at 7:00 at Loblaws.

Wednesday evening - 10 km for Dubliners, 8 km for Midsummer's Night; 6 km for Ottawa. Meet at 7:00 at Occasions. (I goofed on the location last week.)

Please sign in so others know your intentions.  See you Saturday.

Is anyone interested in the Collingwood Half Marathon on Oct. 5th?  Check it out: www.runcollingwood.ca   Sounds like a good course and not too far away. Let Dawn know if you are interested.

All the best to the Dubliners! I'll be away on holiday the next couple of weeks, so will see everyone when I'm back in town. Susan, Eileen and I have been putting our photos up on our Flickr site, but can also forward them to you if you'd like. Happy walking to all and stay cool!

I will not be out Saturday but hope to join Ruth in the north end for a Monday walk.
As Dawn mentioned- send your race interests to me as I am finally able to get into the blog and make some changes...a learning process for sure.

Susan - just spoke to Leverne - because the weather is still supposed to be hot tomorrow, Leverne, Lynn, Barbara, and Ruth are doing 16K from Tim's on Sunday starting at 7:30. What do you think?? Everyone else has signed in for 7:30 tomorrow morning.

Okay - Sunday's plan sounds good to me - supposed to be much cooler too.
I'll likely join the 7:30 crowd on Saturday just because I haven't been out at all this week.
