Walk: Sat. April 17 @ Tim's

This time last year, it was considerably cooler. It remains to be seen how we should feel about our sudden summer.

Saturday's forecast includes rain, though perhaps only light. However, if the weather looks truly lousy, is anyone interested in making Sunday our rain date? Sign in with your preference.

Here are our distances:

For Chicago full and More half: 8K
For Reyjavik full: 13K
For Halifax and Mississauga halfs: 16K
For everyone else, come out and get fit.

Most people will start at our usual time of 8 am. (As I have to be somewhere else at 11 am, I'm hoping to start our 16K a half hour earlier, at 7:30. Let me know if you'll be there. Otherwise, see you when it's over.)

Hi,
I need to do 13km for the Toronto Women's Half so I am thinking of the lighthouse and back, weather permitting. Either day is fine with me so I will watch to see what's posted. I can start earlier if that works. Sorry to be so vague!

Hi all,

I'll be doing 13km, and am fine for either Saturday or Sunday, whichever works best weather-wise.

However, if it is pouring rain either day, Ill pass! Partly because --I feel virtuous because --

This past Sunday I did a half marathon on the Sunshine coast in BC, a very nice course. Next Sunday I'm doing the MORE half in New York --so keeping busy!

Here's hoping for decent weather Saturday so we can get out!

Cheers

Debbie

okay....7:30 am it is for me - (I didn't know there was such a time on a Saturday).

I'll be there for 16 km. I'll go rain or shine with the hope that I'll shrink if it rains!

Hi again!

Helen and all -- has there been a decision re Saturday or Sunday?

And are most people still starting at 8 am?

I know many have not stated their preferences....just wondering...

We'll stick with Saturday, come what may.

Some people are walking earlier (Bob & I will be there at 7:30), however I'm sure that many will be there at 8 am as usual -- most people who show up don't actually sign in, though I wish they would.

See you tomorrow.

7:30 AM Holy crappers! I need to do 16 km for the Mississauga Half next month. Rain or shine. Both Saturday and Sunday call for a 40% chance of rain. So tomorrow is as good as Sunday. Just hope that one of my children lends me a car.

Let me guess who the (anonymous) author of "Holy crappers!" is...

might that be Sharon?

Hmmm...what was my first clue?

See you all tomorrow!
