Walk: Mon. March 10 @ Loblaws

Well, here it is: proof that at least one of us did win "big" at least once! Congrats, Leverne.

For those who walked on Sunday (six, including two-day trooper Susan) we also won with sunny weather, clear skies, and mostly clear paths. Mind you, I had to reroute our walk to take advantage of road-walking to accomplish that. And well done, you courageous souls, to the eight who walked in Saturday's blizzard.

The weatherbird tells me the nice weather should stick around for our 6K on Monday night -- here's a link to our route:

FYI: There's another Wow Powerwalking course starting on April 14th in the Beach area. It's a 10-week Marathon 1 training course on Monday nights, but you don't have to be planning a marathon to benefit from it. [Note: when you see something underlined in our blog, it means you can click it to link to another site for more info.] This might be a good way to be sure of focussed interval training on Mondays. Anyone interested?

I hope to be out Monday night, but may need to catch you en route, depending on traffic.

Lee's course is out for me...away too much in April & Mondays aren't good for me due to Board meetings.

Have a good walk tonight, Enjoy being able to start out in the light. I am up at Casino Rama. Susan - hopefully most of the traffic will be away for March Break and you will have smooth sailing.

Bob & I plan to be there. See you when it's still light out, at 7 pm.

I am not sure if I will be out (originally I was) as I have unexpected out of town family arriving at my house today. If I'm not there before 7:00 I won't be showing up, sorry.
