Unless we're mired in snow, it looks like our first post-race gathering will be on... International Women's Day! How appropriate, as many of us are international women.Here's an easy 8K route that keeps to the sidewalks. Hopefully they will be clear:

I think I will probably take a pass on the morning. Hourly forcasts show it snowing all night and I know for sure my sidewalk won't be shovelled. I can't make Sunday - ballet - and Monday it's Casino Rama. If anyone would like to go out Tuesday either morning or evening, let me know, If not see you Wednesday.

The worst of this weather is supposed to happen on Saturday. Would anyone prefer to reschedule our walk to Sunday, when the Weather Channel is posting big yellow suns? (Susan has already said she's game, Bob & I are happy to do Sunday, and I believe Jan is also okay for the switch.)

P.S. About walking Sunday -- as we have to set our clocks ahead this Saturday night (Spring Forward!) perhaps we'd like to meet at 9 am on Sunday, rather than 8 am. Please weigh in on this, too.

I would prefer the usual time at 8am but Sunday given the snow predictions for Saturday

Either time works for me, as long as there's coffee afterwards.

Either works. But Sunday 8 am would be better for me. But just sort it out and I will come I can!

I prefer Sunday at 9:00 if that works for others. I don't plan on going out Saturday.

It looks like Sunday is the consensus. Bob & I would prefer 9. Let's split the difference for the time preferences and say 8:30.

Yes, 6 of us walked this morning & it was good...not too cold, but quite snowy for the second half. Good group, if I do say so myself. Not sure how Sunday's group will do!

Karin (my next-door neighbour)and I walked from our respective homes this morning; it was snowing like crazy, but a good walk.
