All will be revealed on Midsummer Night... |
The tutu occasion is the Midsummer Night's 15K on Saturday evening, when a whole bevy from our group will be lighting up the night with style, and a bolt or two of tulle. Bring your own flashy lights!
According to Charlotte, the plan is to meet at the
A few of us have volunteered (unofficially) as a cheering section and Shore Things race photographer. All are welcome! Wear your finery. (The race starts at 6:30, but there's no parking at the site.)
And remember Lou-Ann's pool party on the following day, Sunday from 1:30 pm. Bring your best pot luck contribution, a comfy seat and your beverage of choice. Bathing suit and towel, too, of course.
See you this weekend, one way or the other. Or maybe all three!

I blew it; the Loblaws parking for the Midsummer is the north (Eastern Ave) lot. Oops!
I will be doing the evening (Midsummer's) walk tomorrow. Some of us will be parking on the north side of Loblaws (along Eastern Avenue) but as long as we are all wearing tutus, we will be difficult to miss.
Bob & I will be walking our 16K in the morning, and also joining the cheering section at the race. We won't be taking the shuttle (I'll be skootering in my tutu) so see you at the race start.
I'll be there on Sat morning for our walk... happy tutuing to all those Midsummerers and see you on Sunday at Lou-Ann's.

Cheers
Kathleen
I won't be out Saturday morning as I'll be doing the Midsummer that evening. Good luck with the 16km in the morning. Drink lots of water!

Way to Tute everyone!
Have fun and good luck. Won't be out tomorrow for anything. My throat hurts like hell and burns just as much. I am saving myself for Sunday. Promise I won't come if I am not feeling better.
