Walks: Sat. May 22 @ Tim's (& Victoria Day Monday)

Both the Reykjavik Full and the Chicago Full have 13K on Saturday's schedule. If nice weather, you might do the Lighthouse route on the Spit, following the outside/eastern path there and back. If that doesn't suit, then 13K takes you to the crosswalk at Queensbury on Kingston Road, east of Fallingbrook.

If you want to save Monday night for fireworks, there's usually a group meeting at 9:30 am at Loblaws on holiday Mondays. If you prefer Monday evening, request company by announcing it in the comments.

Different schedules apply for Monday: 10K for Reykjavik Full; 5K for Reykjavik Half (yes, your schedule has begun!) and Chicago Full. The route to Rosetta McClain might be pleasant. To complete the full 10K, go down to the bluffs' edge at the bottom of Warden, there and back, and walk all the way through the park via the bluffside path. Look at the route through this link.

See you all after the Halifax Bluenose Half.

Good luck to Helen and Bob in the Bluenose Half; I want to see blue noses when you finish! I won't be out this or next week, but will be back the first week of June, once the opera season is over. Happy walking to all, Olwyn

Have a great race and a great weekend, Helen and Bob!

I'll be out Saturday only if it's not raining....the New York half --three hours in the rain -- was enough for me!

Cheers

Debbie

I plan to be out on Saturday and Monday morning at 9:30.

Good luck (not that they need it) to Bob & Helen in Halifax.

I'll be there Saturday morning - and Monday morning at 9:30. Will try not to yawn too hard either morning.

Saturday is a go if it does not rain. Monday morning, also.

To Helen and Bob, show those Easterners what we are made of!

I have decided to cross-train tomorrow. Up, down, plant flower. Stand, back-stretch, up, down, Ouch! plant next flower.

Yeah, gardening it is. Enjoy the walk and the weather, everyone.
