Walk: Wed. Jan. 23 @ Shoppers


Hope no one is feeling too stiff from Monday's intervals. Personally, I felt happier after some yoga stretching this morning. Looking forward to learning more stretching tricks in Norma's class on Sunday.

Wednesday's distance for Chilly Half training is 10K -- for the Shopper's group, that's east to Oak Park, south to Danforth, west to Logan and back to Woodbine & O'Connor. Just set a nice conversational pace.

Think about your form as you walk -- as a refresher, why not take a look at the technique tips posted in the right-hand column of the blog. We'll take a few minutes to recap form before we set out.

Dust off those YakTrax. See you on Wednesday at 7 pm!

Hello All,
Sorry I missed you last night, but I am into evening rehearsals/opera openings this week and next, so will be out only Saturday mornings for the next couple of weeks. Will try to get in some training when I can.
As to Quebec, I'm afraid I won't be able to make it this year, but I'll definately train with you throughout the summer.
Helen; the flickr photos are fab! If I can remember to bring my camera out, I'll add some also.
