Support a great cause! Calling all heroes of brain injury.  Break out your capes and step up to the start line! Whether you are a survivor, family member, caregiver, healthcare or legal professional, or a concerned individual – you are a hero of brain injury.   Form your own “Super Hero Squad” - Capes, Masks, Wings and Super Powers are encouraged.  Bring your family, friends and co-workers for a fun filled morning to support a great cause. Registration $30 until Sept. 8

from Libby:  Just a reminder for the Shakespeare Race in the Beach August 25
Or, maybe consider the Oasis Zoo Race September 22- a fabulous Panda T-shirt and medal. Both 10 and 5K distances. A fun race around the Torornto Zoo!

from Olwyn:
A new study brings good news to walkers, and especially to those who favour a brisker pace. The faster you walk, the more you may be prolonging your lifespan, the researchers have found. It's a known fact that walking can help to protect our health and prolong our lives. Walking for as little as 2 hours per week brings down the risk of all-cause mortality. This activity has also been linked with enhanced cognitive abilities and better psychological well-being.
